My friend Elyse (whom I adore) had a commission to make a pair of 18K gold wedding rings from some very special 24K gold that she had been given. She came to visit for the day, and we did some quick math, converted the gold, and then cast the rings from a cuttle fish bone -- and a celebratory beer was had by all!
